I have been writing about public engagement with science since 2005 and I am particularly interested in the role of ethical debate in promoting better public engagement. My work in this area makes the case for advancing engagement by moral reasoning and focuses on the opportunities arising from digital communication technologies to extend these possibilities.

Just a quick note: I wonder if Mr Sofroniou is the same Chris Sofroniou I knew at school (Edgware Comprehensive School). We shared the same teacher in a number of classes. I cannot really make out the face too clearly in the picture.
