Barcelona
2004 Forum
The
BCN Forum 2004 took place betwen May and September. It
aimed to revitalise the north coast of Barcelona, which
is an area where i lived for one year. The event spanned
over 5 months and consisted of conferences and cultural
celebrations based on humanitarian values.

Cyberspace and the Public Understanding of Ethics
BCN Forum 2004
This
paper argued that the Internet offers opportunity to foster
an ethical dialogue about science and the issue of genetics
presents a critica need for this debate. A version of this
paper will now be published in the journal Public
Understanding of Science (2005).

The Info Dialogue
Hosted
by the Catalunian Press Association.
The dialogue
included speakers from Al Jazeerah, major press organisations,
and social theorist Manuel Castells. The proceedings concluded
with a profound dedication to journalists who had lost their
lives in the field. This moment was all the more emotional,
as it was learned that one of Al Jazeerah's journalists died
in Iraq during the conference. The photo below (second from
