  1 May 06:
My Wordpress Account

This is not really an event, but it has been quite an interesting experience.Wordpress means you don't need software to publish and is one of a number of tools that is offering great flexibility (forget Blogger (for now)). I have included a link to my wordpress account at the top left of this page. If you are not yet using any RSS reader software, then try setting up a Bloglines account and subscribe to my feed.

  14 March 06:
Tomorrow's People, James Martin Institute, Oxford University

The conference is still undeway here and we are now in a session on credibility in science, a big issue for this meeting. The photo here is from my session yesterday, which I shared with Professor Julian Savulescu, from Oxford. Great meeting.

26 Feb 06: National Theatre of Scotland, Launch
Apart from attending the NTS performance in Cranhill, I am also quickly being converted to wordpress. I'm not sure how many more weeks this website has left!

08 Feb 06: Olympic Winter Games
The next research trip will take place at the Torino Games where Beatriz Garcia and I will continue our work looking at media and culture. This visit is funded by the British Academy and links with some research planned for Beijing 2008. View the flickr photos.
