The rhetoric of "how we became posthuman" as envisioned by Hayles or by Fukuyama is more metaphorical than actual. It is most decidedly determined that futurology cannot forecast the future but can wisely project a type of imaginative narrative. Nevertheless, your topic's discussion is timely. From a pragmatic perspective, I do not think that this discussion can be addressed reasonably and with practicability without locating this topic in juxtaposition with the current social perspective of transhumanism.
