Hello Professor Miah,
I was wondering if you might clarify what you mean when you say that we have the moral obligation to discover, create and support emergent life forms. Would this include a moral obligation to support life forms that we come across outside of the earth? (assuming that ever happens, of course).

While I'm of the opinion that we should support these hypothetical extraterrestrials, I can see arguments coming from the other side claiming that we have a moral obligation not to interfere with them at all. Pointing toward their right self-determination, even if they are simple single-celled organisms.

Anyway, great post, looking forward to reading more of your work.
-Ben.

P.S. And sorry about the double post, submit button got in the way of the scroll button! :)
