Would this include a moral obligation to support life forms that we come across outside of the earth? (assuming that ever happens, of course). While I'm of the opinion that we should support these hypothetical extraterrestrials, I can see arguments coming from the other side claiming that we have a moral obligation not to interfere with them at all.
